Hamilton
Watches
Long an icon of the watch industry, and perhaps the most widely known of the
"vintage" American watch companies, Hamilton watches enjoy a well
deserved reputation for quality and collectability. In the 1930s, 40s and
50s, Hamilton was the watch of choice among most jewelers and probably the watch
most commonly used for "presentation" pieces. They were the first to
bring to market a battery powered watch (though not quartz) and early
Hamilton electrics are rapidly becoming America's favorite collector
timepiece.
The Hamilton name has continued into today, though they are no longer made in
America. Many of today's offerings are based on original Hamilton vintage
designs. The watches offered here are vintage, unless specifically noted. They
are functional, though we cannot guarantee them mechanically. When ordering,
please be aware that the watch may require cleaning or servicing and that it may
need to be regulated to ensure accurate time-keeping.
