Compromise is a word that can send shivers down the spine of someone with a significant other. Let me give you an example. You want the rough and tumble 4X4 or the sleek and powerful sports car, your significant other wants the wagon that gets good gas mileage. So you compromise, and get the wagon in "sunset brown" or what ever the name of that color is called. Most of the time we have to compromise because of ways and means, otherwise known as money. You love the way sports watches look and make you feel. But, a piece of metal the size of a dinner plate on your wrist isn't going to fly in the office. You need something with a little more class as your daily watch. You want some thing that you could wear exploring a sunken ship. The Blue Series splits the difference between sport and dress watch perfectly. At 38mm wide (41mm with the crown) and 11mm thick you are not wearing a dinner plate on you wrist. With screw down case back, screw down crown and a sapphire crystal this dive watch will tell you the time all the way down to 100m. The two tone watch with the wave face is very distinguished. The stainless steel watch with the black wave face is the serious looking one. Both versions have a unidirectional bezel, big luminous markers, luminous hands (including seconds hand) and a magnified date window. Of course both versions use the same 25 jewel Swiss movement to break down days into smaller units of time.
