Hamilton Masterpiece Solid Gold Case

For many years, Hamilton was THE watch at most better jewelry stores. Here is a fine example of why that was true. This watch has a solid 10kt yellow gold case that is NOT engraved on the back (most of these watches were engraved as "presentation" watches). The watch is 34mm wide including the crown and has a hand-wind Swiss mechanical movement that has been recently serviced and is keeping good time. The face has applied arabic numerals at 12:00, 2:00, 4:00, 6:00, 8:00 & 10:00. The other hours have applied markers. There is a subdial for seconds. The leather strap is made of buffalo calf and is of good quality, though it is NOT original to the watch. 

This is truly an excellent choice for the person seeking simple elegance in a precious metal watch.
