Vintage Gruen Steel Automatic

Now this is a sweetheart. A Gruen Precision, made in Switzerland, with a self-winding movement. The crystal is in great shape, the face has some slight aging, and the steel case shows only nominal wear. The movement is running strong and keeping good time. Take a look at the above/right picture and you will see that this is an interesting automatic movement in excellent condition. I'm not very thrilled about the bands on a lot of the vintage watches I get, but this one is an exception with a dark red genuine lizard band, NOT just lizard-grained calf-skin.
