New Hamilton Quartz Khaki Watch

Those of you who browse our vintage watches know that Hamilton is one of our favourite brands. The Hamilton Watch Company was the premiere American brand until the 1960s. The brand is still in existence, though it is now based in Switzerland and is part of the Swatch Group. They have (wisely in our opinion) continued to offer some of Hamilton's most interesting watches in modern versions (such as the Ventura and Everest). They have also continued to make some very high quality watches in modern designs and this is one of those. 

This watch has a quartz movement, date display at 3:00, luminous hands and markers, and an interesting pivoting crown retainer/protector. The case is stainless steel with a screw-down case back. It is water resistant to 10 atmospheres and has a sapphire crystal. The case measures 40mm without the crown and 45mm with the crown. The band is solid link stainless steel with a diver type safety buckle.
